29 weeks

29 weeks!

Peter is out of town in Brasil for worky till Friday morning.  We are going to miss him.  He will be back Friday morning.  Everytime Peter goes to Brasil I daydream about Maria Sibylla Merian (one of my favorite artists) and her naturalist expedition to Surinam in South America.  I imagine her starring at her specimens for hours during the daylight hours trying to paint their structure and color.  I love the fable quality of her work and the way she gathers many of the insects together in one painting.

Peter will be doing a similar flight to Norway at the end of the month (I'm sure I'll mention it/whine about it).

So what to update about lovely Josephine?
-She's getting better at pulling herself up on things.
-She is also starting to sit up on her own.  She is still quite wobbly.
-over the weekend we fed her applesauce (and banana again).  She seemed to enjoy it.
