Sketchbook Project 2012

Do you remember when I mentioned the Sketchbook Project in this post?  Well the project is in the mail and making it's way to the Brooklyn Art Library.  I will say that I will never venture into doing a project when a baby is born again.  I was terribly busy with Josephine and I needed to take time to heal as well.

My project was to draw things I found on walks through our neighborhood.  It was interesting to be carrying Josephine inside me in the beginning and then carrying her with the ergo later on.  Some days were too cold for Josephine so we had to head back inside.  Or it would rain for a whole week nonstop.  I suppose I should have chosen something I didn't have to physically do anything for.  But either way it was a very fun project and I enjoyed drawing each object.  They will digitize the project on their website here.  Maybe if the project is still going on I can do it with Josephine when she's a bit older.
